Understand the basics of Mini Golf
Take a moment with Mini Golf before moving to another game. Sink all three holes within twelve strokes per hole. Choose a clear next step rather than rushing through the instructions. Treat the first round as a chance to learn the controls. Use the example below to understand a decision.
Three original obstacle courses; wall bounces and friction.
Something to practise
Compare the worked example with your own position. Use the reasoning, not an answer copied from a different board. Notice the feedback after each input.
What counts as success
Sink all three holes within twelve strokes per hole. Keep that objective in view throughout the round. Keep the controls in easy reach.
How to proceed
- Aim a stopped ball.
- Set power and putt.
- Wait until it stops before another shot.
- Use Next hole after sinking.
How your actions work
Touch aim, angle/power sliders and Putt. Keep the playing area visible while using these controls. A new-round button replaces the current round.
Try this example
A soft final putt can sink where a fast crossing would not. Focus on why the action is allowed, not only its outcome. Keep the controls nearby.
Watch out for this
The hole accepts only a sufficiently slow ball. Take a moment to reassess the position before continuing. When a decision goes wrong, compare it with the common mistake described below. Start again only when you intend to leave the current round.
